Rent
The rent charged for Forest View is shown at the availability page (all prices are per day/week).   Payments can be made by Cheque, by Internet Banking, or by Direct Bank Transfer (eg BACS). We offer a 10% discount for just a couple, or for returning guests, during the winter season, from November until Easter week.   

 

Electricity
No charge is made for electricity.

 

Deposits
A deposit of 25% is payable at the time of booking. No booking is guaranteed or confirmed until the deposit has been received. If a cancellation is made a deposit will only be refunded if the property is subsequently re-let for the period.

 

Balance
The balance is due a minimum of 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. If the balance is not paid on time  we will seek to re-let the property.  Once paid, the balance will not be returned. In paying the balance you agree to the conditions below. An information pack will be sent to you following payment of the balance.

 

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that guests take out Travel Insurance to provide coverage against unforeseen circumstances.  There are many companies on the market that offer this service but this url takes you directly to the relevant moneysupermarket page:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF LETTING

 

Damage 
Guests are  responsible for the property whilst there and for any damage caused by themselves, children, pets or other guests.  The housekeeper has been asked to check for damage on handover and will call in a carpenter or decorator if there is a need. In accepting these terms and conditions you agree to pay for any repairs or replacements necessary,  however caused during your stay.

 

Neighbours
The area is very peaceful and guests are asked to keep noise to an absolute minimum in order to preserve the tranquillity of the area. 

Linen
All the towels and bed linen is provided.
 

Parking
Plenty of parking available
 

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any part of the property.

 

Drainage
Drainage is to a septic tank. No insoluble material (e.g. S.T.s, tampons etc) should be flushed down the lavatory, as the drains will block.

 

Electricity
No charge is made for electricity and guests are asked to leave on the electricity to the freezer/fridge and cooker.

 

Keys
Keys will be provided to you before your arrival at Forest View

 

Letting Period
The normal letting period is from 3 pm on the Sunday until 10 am on a subsequent Friday.

The minimum letting period is 3 nights

 

Maximum Number of Guests
The maximum number of guests is 6, including children and adults.

 

Dogs
Dogs are only allowed with our written permission. Owners must certify the animals are well behaved and that they will pay for any damage or soiling. No cats are allowed.

 

Cleaning
It is a firm condition of letting that guests leave the property in a clean condition, just as they would expect to find it. Cleaning materials are provided. The housekeeper will call after the letting to check the inventory, and change bed linen.

 

Food
We leave some tinned food and other comestibles (eg salt, pepper etc) in the property. If guests do find themselves forced to use it then they are asked to replace it, as we expect to find it there on our arrival.
